Vision

Institutions of higher education are often the leaders of innovative social and political change that influences the cultural paradigm shifts that bring societies to their next stage of evolution. ASPLU realizes that change is ever-present and that Pacific Lutheran always has its eye on the future prospects of advancement for the institution and its students. Therefore, it only makes sense that the elected student peers in ASPLU remain closely involved in all discussions related to the future of Pacific Lutheran University. With the student voice as established, providing the perspectives of the student body to the administrators and regents of PLU ensures that the institutional advancement will be consistent with the concerns of future Lutes.

As students were involved with the PLU 2010 long-range planning document, ASPLU is currently providing strong student representation on the PLU Master Plan that Mith?n of Seattle is preparing for PLU, as well as the athletic facilities planning group with hired architect firm Cannon Design of Los Angeles.
